Principals First is a service to Principals and other leaders in schools, offering both confidential one-to-one consultancy and professional development services. 

• You can use our consultants for your own professional growth, as a coach or mentor
• You can access support in times when you need to debrief or to restore balance.
• You can engage a professional learning team to assist your school or Network in areas like goal-setting, communication, developing teamwork and dealing with stress.

Principals First is independent, impartial and completely confidential. It is a service available within Victoria, Australia, for both Government and non-Government schools, and is offered on a reasonable fee-for-service basis.

Who are we?

The Principals First team is made up of experienced former Principals and Assistant Principals, some from Government schools, and some who have been Heads of Independent schools. Principals First began in 2002 and has worked in a number of schools both in metropolitan Melbourne and in country regions.

You are welcome to make an appointment with the Coordinator of Principals First, in order to talk about the service in more detail. That discussion is offered without charge and without obligation.
