Members of the Principals First team
offer a range of professional development activities to Principals’ groups
or networks, and to Leading Teachers, with a special focus on health and wellbeing.
Among the full-day or half-day seminars we have taken are:
- The Principal as moral leader: the place of leadership in establishing
values in the school community.
- What’s important to me? Life balance and setting priorities. Managing
the impact of work on life
- Responding to difficult situations and difficult people
- Looking after ourselves and looking out for others
- Recognising and dealing with stress
- Working cohesively as a leadership team.
